Guest shaneb677
ok im going to be getting a cabby towards the end of the year but in the mean time im toying with the idea of a show roll cage for mk6 escort 3 door these are aluminum with chrome polish finish they are for cosmetic looks only im thinking of stripping the car out and putting in front bucket seats with the roll cage and fresh paint on the inside so i can sell easier when show season has finished ,,,it just gives me better chance of selling for a fair price and everything i strip out will be kept for buyer to return to original i had a web page now lost so if anyone knows of a web site please could you pm me as im wanting to find out about these show roll cages thanx for any help
gingergman
id put the show cage in, but dont strip it out, its only a escort afterall. plus it will make it loud and rattly, stick to comfort, the cage will still look sweet

MarineIguana
My view on show cages in another persons words The Blue Peter Guide on how to make a Show Cage: 1) Go to local supermarket and buy 20 rolls of tin foil, some pritt stick and a childs pair of safety scissors. 2) Remove rolls of tin foil from boxes. Discard boxes. 3) Unravel tin foil from cardboard tubes. Save the tin foil for later. 4) Take the (now tin foil free) card board tubes and, using the pritt stick and safety scissors and assemble into required structure in rear of vehicle. 5) Remember that tin foil you saved from earlier? Wrap the assembled cardboard tubes in the tin foil for that super shiney show car look, using the pritt stick to secure as necessary. 6) Step back and admire your handy work. Thats a lot safer than a show cage which are horrible and dangerous
