Guest Alanman
We thought we'd head off to Ford Meet's all Ford meet at Squires Cafe, Leeds on Sunday. It wasnt far and promised to be a big turn out. We knew the new wheels would be more accepted, but we didnt expect by how much. When we got there the field was pritty much full and was pointed round to the far end and it felt like we'd turned up naked or something. Everyone seemed to stop what they were doing and watched us drive through. Even at this point we wernt sure if it was good or something had fell off. lol. We parked up and instantly we had people round asking questions, commenting about the wheels and the exhaust etc. We removed the 1,000,000,000 flies off the front and just mist and wiped the car while I tried to answer all the questions and we were finally ready for a walk round. That's when I got a nice warn feeling, all these fancy Fords all lined up i one place. Various 3dr Cossies right through to split mint RS Turbos and an awsome RS1600i. I didnt even realise how many limited edition Focus RSs and STs there were, but my fav was a pro400 with 400bhp and sweet Recaro interior. Guest Alanman
Another favourite was actually not technically a Ford all be it Ford powered. It was a little Catterham style car with its throttle bodied XR3 engine sat the wrong way turning the rear wheels. I'm sure it was fun enough but I couldnt help thinking a RS Turbo conversion would sit lovely. lol. And here the best of the rest.

Guest Alanman
On a foot note the back field of Squires Cafe is a sweet venue for this kind of thing. Burger van on site aswell as the Cafe itself, although inside it was more like a pub???. It looks like it is a regular stop for the local motorbicyclists too, full of sweaty men in leathers. I actually watched a leather clad guy in the toilet trying to have a wee. Funnyiest thing I've seen in ages. lol.
