update what i did Saturday and Sunday nearly ready to paint

Got the drivers door fitted and lined up properly the wing had been fitted cack so had to undo all the welds at the back and refit it

well sorted the drivers foot well and the boot floor out today waiting for the stone chip to dry then the sound deadening can be fitted. And did the rear panel

well had a weekend off last week but did a bit more this weekend nearly there now ;D

 

replaced the lower part of the front panel.

also any one know what model fiesta this drive shaft is off only all the other xr2's and supersports were different they were allot thinner and had a joint in the middle fastened to the engine block

hi m8

as far as i remember arn't all the standard mk1 fezzie's the same, all the fezzie's i have done clutch's on didn't bolt 2 the block, the fez is the quickest i'v pulled a clutch out 2, 15 mins :cool:

thats why i love the old cars, so much better 2 wrk on :smile:

If my memory serves me rite thats a mk2 fiesta d/s shaft and probably a mk2 fiesta gearbox too as the mk1 13&16 x-flow ones had an idler bearing on a bracket 1/2 way down the shaft that attached to the back of the block but were renowned for braking and throwing the shaft off, hence why that lot was fitted as i'm sure it must have gone at sometime? also i think the 950-1100 mk1 fezzy long shaft was a solid one that had a clamp on weight 1/2 way down?
