Guest cossiemark Posted December 29, 2010 Share Posted December 29, 2010 Well got down to the unit today for the 2nd time since getting KARY connected a decent battery and after about 5 turns it started deep joy. Got a new rear arch for the drivers side today so will be fitting that as soon as i can. There are a few parts missing so on the hunt for them. Guest corrie Posted January 9, 2011 Share Posted January 9, 2011 i was thinking so. i had a mk1 xr2 in caspian blue. i rebored it to a 1740cc, kent cam, installed a 5 speed box from a 16diesel fiesta, with a little modding to the chassis leg lowered and stiffed suspension. but could never get it to tick over properley due to the kent cam. wish id kept it as in its day was fun to race golf gti's they could never catch it.
