Guest dobs Posted September 8, 2010 Share Posted September 8, 2010 ok not much work happened yet or at least not as much as i wanted old engine is out new one has been built up and slipped back in the hole with new cambelt, water pump, lsd rst box replaced all the manifold bolts for new, just got to fit the hose's, turbo and inlet so hopfully be running tommorow only started on it today no work on brakes yet Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest dobs Posted September 27, 2010 Share Posted September 27, 2010 What made you change your mind mate. nothing has really changed my mind, it just not what i had wanted to do, i did it as i had the time and parts i had been looking for a mk1 fiesta for a big engine conversion, had a 190bhp mk1 xr2 and miss the fiestas, couldnt find a good shell to start from so did the escort, two days after the escort was done picked up a 45k milesmk1 with a great body so im now looking to raise some cash to start the conversion, looking to have about 180bhp NA but it has to look like a std 950cc bog basic mk1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
