Fitted body kit , and sprayed brakes and sealed the under side of car. Guest adamk Posted October 5, 2008 Share Posted October 5, 2008 (edited) Got a lot done today. Fitted the Mongoose exhaust system Sprayed the Body Kit. Finished the underside of car with sealer. Put some insulation in side pannels to reduce road noise. Heres some pics: Tried the wheels from my Alfa on her to she what she was like. Guest adamk Posted October 6, 2008 Share Posted October 6, 2008 (edited) Got a good bit done on her today, as it was dry. * Filled and resprayed bot lid. * Filled and sprayed drivers side, and filled body kit gaps to car. * Filled and sprayed the Bulkhead were wipers are, and reprayed wiper armes * Fitted newly sprayed bonnet. * Fitted new wiper and head light switchs * Did some DIY Bad boy headlights using gaffer taype. lol ( actually looks good) * Got all the rear lights working again. was a lot of corosion on the conections on lights. Only have a few pics as it was dark when i was finishing up. Will post pics of bonnet and a finsihed pic of driver side tomorrow. Not much more to do, bar some tidying up on her, * repray the black around side windows. * Respray frount and rear bumpers. * replacing the wishbones and anti roll bar rubbers. * Put all the badges/stickers back on. ( will have to find out the right locations for thease as there seems to be more then i need) Im geussing (see last pic) the to large 1's, are just a matter of presonal choise for boot lid. 2 med sized 1's for wings, but whats the real small 1 for. its a set i bought of ebay. Car would Die now and then at low revs. IE slow trafic, at trafic lights ect. So i over hawled the engen bay, and cleaned all terminals and Earth conection troughtout the engen bay, And tidyed it up along the way.. Cheers m8, i found a use for that small XR3i sticker too. lol Had a few hours tonight So i gave her an Engen Flush and oil/Filter change. And started the paint Job on the bottem, As ya can see i got the larger areas done, Now just have to do all them small spotes Another few hours tomorrow night should finish it... Its been fully sprayed in undercoat, going to spayers next weekend to get final coat, and a full supetion kit and bushes orderd and in post to fit and she's done. Im going to stick with the Alfa Wheels, and get a new set for alfa.. New wishbones, New Track Rods armes And new Track rod ends The car Now drives like a new car, Unbelivible the differnence. It was all over the place before hand, pulling left and right depending on power to the wheels and the road conditions on another note, i think i may have fixed the cutting out prob, While down under car takin stering rack out, i found a wire with a male and femal conections not connected, 1 end whent to a senser on injection manafold.
