  1. The spotlights operate when main beam is on so the spotlight live feed is just in front of the O/S/F strut top & there is a relay in the fuse box (sorry I cant remember which one at the moment)
  2. I think I have got a speedo drive if you haven't been able to sort 1, I will check now that I am near my spare parts

  5. I am doing the same with my MK4 cabby, I might be going with either Diamond white (standard colour) or Ice white. I'm not sure at the moment
  6. The fog light bulb is accessible via a cover inside the bootlid
  7. On the MK4 ABS system, it is driven from the driveshafts not the gearbox. A common problem on this system was that abs belts would either snap or strech & then come off the driveshaft. The grinding could be 1 or 2 diff bearings collapsing in the gearbox.. Whereabouts are you Dan? As I have got a gearbox for sale if it is needed & your not too far away

    Wind Deflector

I have got a wind deflector for my MK4 cab & my MK6 cab. I have got no concern about going near or just over the speed limit without losing the wind deflector
  19. You can change the valve oil stem seals without removing the head, I have done loads of them but I have never heard of using compressed air to keep valves in place. Whereabouts are you? If your close enough I could give you a hand or do them for you
