hi as title really has anyone fitted an mtx 75 to a mark 4 , if so what mounts have they used and from what car was the box from. thank you.

Used k seal on 320i bmw with blown head in dec 2012. 12 months later and 9000 miles it still goes. So thumbs up for me on k seal that little £10 bottle saved me£900.

After 19 years you need new fluid! The fluid collects moisture which is not good for braking!before you drain get help And before your change it check for leaks fluid/air. Mines a 1990 and brakes where good. Ive used them alot since owning car.

stupid but has been done before is your thermerstat in the right way round?

i take it you mean the track rod end. dont have to take off mark up with tip x or count the turns so ne one goes back same length, not major problem you can just get it tracking done about £11. undo the lock nut then unscrew the rod end.

just an intresting point , ive just canceled my renewel on my cab insurance as its to much to pay for the use it gets but ive just read, the emails they sent me and my no claims bonus is the same. ie not earned another year, after talking to aidrian flux they have now told me "yes thats right you insured it as a classic cover and you dont accumalate no claims bonus's." they never told me this when i took out insurance so be carefull what you get in your policy when you insure on a classic cover.

hi everyone i know theres a lot of post out there for this type of question, but here goes with mine. anyone fitted 2.0 silvertop zetec. if yes what exaust manifold have you used. where can i get a stainless manifold from, and what other car manifolds will fit, anyone with a 2.0 fitted let me know thank you.

if your still intrested not sure if all the same but one near starter motor is M10 x 20. hope it helps.

are you fitting a new roof or secondhand, as for new roof there not supose to be that bad if your diy skills are good. whats the price difference for fitting /just supply. it would be best left to the proffesionals. second hand will be straight fit but maybe a bit tight might need 2 to stretch it. if its new i would recommend a mohair, not vinyl replacement. this is my opinion and advice

thought id piggyback this one as my insurance is up this year.......... mines gone up £200 this year, im with aidrian flux, 31 years old, d+d 3 years ago, all mods declared, restricted millage to 1500 miles, fully comp. £680, what company is everyone with and price. would be use full.

just reading your first post you say fluid half way between lines when roof is closed, have you tried filling it up to top line,

if your saying it doesn't struggle it just cuts out id be looking at checking for power at relays, switch, etc when roof is in operation, and see if there is a power cut halfway through. your rear cards are the inside trim pannels next to the back seats as in the front door cards. the bits with the window winders and speaker covers,(ie mk 4) if you take theses off you will see the hydraulic rams if it is cutting out you need to find if it is losing power or just strugling to go past half way. if it is losing power then we can look at reasons why. keep us informed with how you get on.

when did you check fluid level roof open or closed? what roof is it vinal or mohair? and as said earlier tap shud be closed.

maybe a broken connection/earth point somewhere on drivers side

i dont think its relay because it flashes one side if the relay not working it wouldnt flash either side.
