Hi stripping engine down and need to remove flywheel. What's best way is there a tool to lock it up while you undo bolts.

Hi trying to find the octane adjust wire on a mk4 1.6 efi. Any help please. Need to disconnect it to run a diagnostic.check.

Thanks for reply but could do with a bit more detail what setting for the ohms on the meter Sensor connected or not which pin to connect from the 3 sensor pins.

Hi Paul I snapped the rocker arm stud. And it failed mot on emissions. I drilled and tapped it. Took it back and it past. A used it for a couple of months occaisonaly. Then garaged for over a year took for mot and failed emissions co% 5.283 HC 1604. Brought it home rocker cover off rocker stud slightly lose so re done with thread lock and torqued down. Its 1.6 cvh efi engine. But don't want to take it back to fail again on emissions if it's not a valve causing it. Thank you for the help

Hi yes it's an old one but I never sorted it out. Got put in garage and never got chance. It is suspected problem with inlet valve. But would this cause hi emissions. Try and find the report and post it.

Yes on standard non abs drum.

im suspecting a problem with inlet valve on cylinder 1, would somthing like this cause high co levels? not sealing properly or opening.

right ok thank you , this now confuses things ive been told to get a rs turbo flywheel for my zetec turbo build. but i thought i would need an efi one for the crank position sensor.

ok lets make it easier, is the escort rs turbo flywheel same as 1.6 efi fly wheel?
