Noisy fuel pump means it's on it's way out, I bought mine like that and it lasted a few months before I had to replace it.

Good to see the cab is getting some use mate, shame about the clutch but it's nothing abnormal.

Definetly Carb CVH, but why it has an air box when it has an air filter housing and yes what is that red thing on the right.

It's possible to be an earth problem, on my cab my number plate lights used to flicker when I indicate it was an earth problem.

Mk4's like to go crusty on the front panel behind the bumper, but you seem to have got stuck in so well done. Uploading pics should not be a hassel, open a photobucket account load your pics on there and load on to the site.

My mk3 does not have the round terminal, it has the flat terminal and unless your battery leads have been changed yours should be the same.
