The only thing that I think was a problem was the efi models and the mk3 heater blower surround is a different shape

hello peeps Been asked by a good friend of mine who owns a caravan site in sandwich kent to attend a show there organising I no its short notice for most of us and is a first time its been held on this showground so it will be a pretty mellow event we have the choice of the whole weekend or sat /sun so if you just fancy the day out or a bit of camping bbq thrown in let me no . Not an se 500 but does have the interior trim still sad to see it in this condition though no matter what model it is :-( Won't no how bad it is untill we take carpets out etc Will get some pics up for all to see

Bulb holders are different :-( Have you tried cleaning the plug end with sand paper and closing the gap up a tad Had problem with mine too

Yeah they do still a fitting service on site :-) Pain though as I said to them the cars in a garage with lights electric Got to leave it with them so means two people driving couple of hours on the dreaded m25 lol Got in touch with another company in Croydon that will come and fit if I supply the inner headlining and outer hood

just to let members no carhoods warehouse no longer do a mobile fitting service for the mk3 or mk4 escort cabriolet :>) tried to get them out to fit the father inlaws mohair for the sum of £580 and very surprised when they told me they no longer do the fitting service due to age of the cabbys :>(

I found the mohair hood was much better than vinyl one :>) as above make sure the window sits nicely under the rubber seal . I got myself some seat covers so the material doesn't get soaked

Complaints from a small minority of local residents required that in 2014 we submit a planning application to regularise our events – this application was subsequently refused by local council with no allowance for compromise and an enforcement notice was issued prohibiting our events. This left us with no alternative but to appeal on the grounds that we can prove the existing use of our facilities (over 28 days a year for more than 10 years) and therefore we have a case that it is too late for the Council to issue the aforementioned enforcement notice. A public enquiry is being held at Chelmsford City Council in July of this year where we will be represented by a very proficient planning Barrister and agent – for further information see www.battlesbridge.com/planning. We have a strong case but this process is extremely costly and time consuming. In addition to this the general organisational costs of our shows increases each year, particularly where the attendance is as strong as we have experienced in recent years. These costs are consistently high regardless of the number of paying visitors to our events where weather and other factors play a role. For these reasons we have had to address our policies relating to both club and individual car exhibitors at our May, August and September shows. For 2015 we will be charging admission of £12.00 per club exhibit car and £5.00 per individual exhibit car (To include entry for the driver and one passenger – additional passengers will be charged £5.00 each). These prices represent a saving compared to general entry at both our May Classic Car Show and September Grand Motorbilia Day. We are mindful of keeping prices to a minimum however this introduction is vital if we are to protect and improve our classic vehicle events.
