This event will be held at the new Petrolheads venue, Coed Mawr, Holywell, CH8 9DN. We welcome all car enthusiasts to tag along with us for the day and show off their cars, bikes and maybe even something different? For all the Bass heads and ICE freaks there will be a station you can tune into so you can simultaneously show off your installs! At the new Petrolheads NW location The Munch Box will be open for your typical show food and Pitstop Carshop will also be open for any car related items, there are also on site toilets available. The event will start at 2pm for the public... However anybody wanting to really show their car can be there for 1pm if they wish to give their car a once over and a quick clean before any more people start arriving! Families with children are more than welcome to come along also, but we do advise that ALL children are kept under supervision at all times due to people coming and going in cars and also the road nearby! Will do im getting there slowly, no work on tommorow so got most of day to fit sump, crank and head gaskets so im on target ish lol then gotta pop to Demon Tweeks near me to get some positive power cable to sort out startet/alternator wiring

Found out that my front bumper had a fibreglass bodge behind it, i needed a new thermostat and gasket, my manifold had a snapped stud bolt and my alternator positive lead could be corroded internally and also i had thick sludgy oil everywere great fun!! most of these probs tho i should have found out by now, ive just been to lazy i think. On a good note tho i had a spare manifold off my spare engine, ive already got gaskets for everywere that i stockpiled a while back, ill end up sorting out my intermittant starting prob forever (hopefully) and my engine bay will rust/oil free at last when ive finished Got a mfi petrol tank in the pic (non original) was new when i bought it but had surface rust, wired brushed it, brushed it with Vactan and then black undersealed it, it still has surface rust spots where ive nocked it moving it about etc but its still a good tank. Anyone want it for FREE pick up in wrexham north wales or you pay me the postage through paypal etc

Small brown wire going to the negative batt point, mine was corroded and came off a while ago and can be another reason why the fuel pump isnt working as well as all the other obvious ones

if mine had abs like a few of my old ones id take it off more trouble than its worth lol

Thanks dennis its def them, prob is now do i get some before i respray my car or do i fit new standard headlights or my morrettes decisions, decisions ............. Didnt know it was a escort cab until i seen the roll bar and back end lol

Just hope i get it all done in time, respray is the biggest thing not looking forward to it but im def not paying someone stupid money to do it when i can do it myself

Bit of surface rust nothing major tho although i have found out that i have a leak from the alternator pulley and ive had to take the manifold off to change the gasket so i may aswell change the head gasket and cam belt while its off (got a spare engine with a new head gasket and cam in it but cant be arsed dropping that in) not sure whether to buy some new inlet/outlet valves as they feel a bit crispy through the exhaust outlet holes hmmm? wanna keep the original cvh in it if i can being as everything else is non standard, although a frst cvh engine would be nice

cant believe i was driving around before i took it off the road

its looking like it is at mo as ive been stocking up on new parts (headlights, wheels, stereo system, new alarm etc etc ) and ive been doing the mechanical things like new tcas, rear tie bars, new shocks n springs, new discs, bushes, etc etc nows the time to do the exterior and interior. My interior is going to be done by Mondo (Hide n seat) in black and red leather as for the respray im possibly doing it myself but i might change my mind if time starts running out lol. And the mohair hood ive got ordered ill fit that myself. Gonna get it on my back garden tomoz and take the front bumper off to see how it looks etc WEEK 1

Hi guys I got 12 weeks ish to get my car worthy of taking it to The classic ford show and putting it on the club stand so ill be starting tommorow Heres a post of my new wheels and tyres for now more to come tommorow of how it looks at the moment.

I usually pop to a vw/audi garage and ask em for power hood fluid its the same stuff for ford hood pumps, cheaper too

Awesome! cant wait! got my front door cards/pod sorted just sorting out the rear speaker pod this week and then i can sort out getting it all to ya

Either way they are def getting fitted lol id like to put em on with out messing around but after countless searches its prob the only option, and the ride cant get harsher than it is
