alaways though it 1 stereo and ancillrys 2, igntion and 3 engine on...either way you deffo shouldn't have the engine warning lights on

Daft as this may sound, but are you trying the switch with the ignition at satge 1.. rather than stage 2 woth the dashlights all on

you have a small yellow and green relay under the drivers side dash, best way to get to them is to pop the speaker cover off, or if ya flexable get ya head down in the whell

Think you;ll find that what i said, to the right hand side, as you look at the wheel under the dash, Ive got 5 relays sitting on a shelf, ill send ya 1 up for a try, that way if it dont work ya aint lost owt hey

that will fit fine as frames and rams are identical on mk3/4, but thats a bit pricey for the setup!... got a setup here ill let go for £80

As tony said you need to go around the local truck and trailor garages...carnt remeber the name of it but you want the paint they use to signwrite on curtainsiders.

Take a torx head socket and loosen the lower dasboard screw on the inside door, then unscrew the inner cill trim.. then gentle slide the cover out..you may need to hold the dash up out the way slighty

The rev counter takes its feed from the possitive side of the coil.. check for any loose fraid wires

why do you ned 3 pontbelts?..if ts for a child seat theres plenty on the market that work with lapbelts

Took mine down to timpsons the shoe peeps.. got 3 done for all of 50p in the charity tin. any place like that should do it, or if ya posh try a horse tack/bridal shop

Just gone though there catlouge and 2 other well known firms and it confirms that there are not avalible new at all!! The only way to do is it is to trim up a salon rear pannel,. either that or repair your own

Theres only one company i can think off that whould have one and thats Hadriens pannels in Northumbria(ill sort the addy out later) But im 99% sure they dont exsist new

have a look n see how big the hole is..it needn't be a masive split to leak in..if its small enough just silicone it over,.welding wise you should be able to get it done for 50 to 100 quid

Fus box and battery tray area under the bonnet,..mk5 are infamous for rotting under there

Does the wobble pass if u go over 40/50? sounds to me like the wheel may need balencing amd also an allignment check wouldnt go amiss...That should tell you if any of ya trackrod ends are worn,..alse check the the sterring coulum bushes..if the wheel moves up and down and side to side a lot then chgances are i that thats collapesed

How slight is slight,..is it short of half a turn or a case of almost a full turn...

Well it could be a few things...Firstlly what mk is 3,4,5,6?.has it been lowered or had any form of knock Has the tracking been allterted? as when the ends are adjusted they tend to pull the wheel out of kilter..this is the most common cause,.. does the wheel wobble when driving or does the car wander without any real input

When u say all over the palce do u mean the car actually wanders around or does the steering wheel move (shake up n down or wobbly side to side0?....Does the wheel sit straight when the front wheels are forward or is it on an angle..ie a half a turn left or right...Also has it had new steering colum bushes..as this can cause adverse wheel wobbly

Could be a bent steering rack,has the car had any form of front end knock?

No matter how good the battery is. if its being constantly used without a charge it will go flat...hopefully these pics should help,..give ya an idea of where it goes

The blue wire is important to the alternator as its its live feed,..make sure its complete. if its broken it will not show the bat light, if it shows intermitantly then its making contact either with the block or to the other half,..Get it crimped n soldered together,, :icon_salut_gb:
