    Button??

DONT PRESS IT, Its the ejector seat......................................................... Its for the rear electric windows i think, when pressed in they cannot be opened from the back seats. Paul
  3. You can only put induction kit on EFI not MFI mate, the only other way is a KN panel filter Paul
  4. Just a quick update, it does need the ECU, plugged in and the pump primes. Thanks Paul
  5. Red and black, do they go to the starter and then to the alernator? or a single red to the alternator? plus a couple of small wires? Paul
  6. Can anyone tell me how the starter motor / alternator cables are connected from the battery? Ta Paul

    Alarm

Had it fitted to my Clifford, never used it because always forgot to put it in safety mode before turning the engine off lol. These work well on automatic cars but manual are to much trouble. Not going back on after the rebuild.
  8. Hi mate, have you got the diagram for the 90 onwards EFI wiring? Paul
  9. one daft question i have no ecu connected would this affect it
  10. full loom but left the original fuel pump wires from back seat to pump and joined under seat only 2 wires the one for the pump and the one for render unit, the earth connections seem ok and are still attached under seat base. Havent got starter or alternater wired but this should not affect it should it
  11. Is there a fuse or relay in in the fuse box for this? Or is it just the yellow one under the dash (EFI)
  12. yes mate 2nd click, but having probs with battery at moment so might be a case of not having enough volts to switch relay
  13. No volts on fuel pump positive wire any ideas? Changed relay and thats ok. Paul
  14. Hi all, when fitting new Gaz rears to a mk4 do you just leave the yellow supplied bump stop on or do you replace it with the Ford fitment?
  15. Hi all what is the sensor / ? on top of the coil bracket on the EFI? What is it called and has anyone got a spare Paul
  16. Last night we managed to bolt the head down and set up the timing. The head had a new Piper 285T2 Cam, Piper lifters, vernior pully and Piper Cam belt fitted before it was bolted down on the block. The head has also had a lot of work on it being ported and polished etc. The block had been fitted with steel con rods, forged pistons and flywheel lightened etc etc.
  17. Haven’t updated this is ages mainly due to work, money etc and slight loss of interest but back on track. The new EFI loom has been installed, this was a task in it self has i didn’t want to cut and join any of the loom. So all the interior was ripped out to make way for it. I managed to pick up a mint loom thanks to Ant at Just Affords. The loom had never seen a alarm and even the original stereo connector was in place and it came from a Cab so all good. I have just finished putting 90% of the interior / dash / boot back in so its starting to look like a car again. The engine bay is also starting to fill up again, managed to get the reconditioned steering rack etc back in place and all the front suspension all back on. Decided to replace the 18 month old Konis with Gaz fully adjustable, new hubs have been purchased and powder coated and all other items related to the suspension have been re powder coated black I.E anti roll bar etc. New Powerflex poly bushes have also been added. I will get some pictures of the front suspension setup ASAP. We have also assembled the gearbox together with its new 4 Paddle AP racing clutch and bolted up with the block. New Vibratech engine mounts have been fitted. The block and gearbox, cradle etc was built up outside the car and then raised up into the car with the help of Andy, Eric and Andy (F40) and bolted into place with re zinced bolts and washers. The head in the picture was just resting on top of the block so it didn’t get kicked around to much.

  19. Thanks Taz for your help mate, all sorted
  20. Ok, changed my MFI loom to a EFI and all the plugs and sockets fit? Except i cannot find a home for the 2 pin connector from the electric antenna. The relay for it is mounted using a screw behind the clocks and the lead coming from the relay has a inline fuse to a 2 pin connector. Dis they change this on the EFI? Paul
  21. I have some single piston cossie ones with sliders here, are they 2 or 4 wheel drive? Paul
