  5. They solder on to the rear of the top / side press stud located in the speaker pod. The roof cover is different on the electric roofs it as a wire between 2 of the press studs so the idea is when the roof cover is fitted it shorts these wires together this stopping the roof from closing..................clever Ford

  8. Sump back on, glued and sealed. Not sure if its cured yet was waiting 24 hours for the sikaflex to go off before filling with oil. Will test tonight. Cars booked in with Motorsport Developments in Balckpool on tuesday to be finished off. Touch wood all will be ok Paul
  9. Sump off and it looks like the gasket, traces of oil both sides in a few places, so hopefully some sikaflex will stop it
  10. looks like its coming from the sump and running around and dripping down by the bottom pully. Will drop it off in the week and change it. Will try the superglue trick mate i have read this somewhere before. Are genuine ford gaskets any better than patten ones for this? Paul

  12. All the bolts on the sump were a little loose so i have cranked them up to FT. Going to give it another run in a while. When they rebuilt the engine they put on the sump and gasket so didnt even think it would not be ok lol.
