  3. Ok guys sorry for the total lack of updates but have been very busy at work and with the club. But have still been working on the car. Well it started off has a winter project but its now May but hopefully the end is in sight, I hope so because no got no more money to spend on it. Anyway heres a quick update. Airtec Radiator, Intercooler, Turbo cooler in place. Had to cut the bumper out a little for the twin fans Rest of engine built up with some shinny bits Just awaiting a polished Fiesta turbo cross over and i can get rid of the bodge pipework to the Idle control valve, A full Magnex exhaust as been fitted. I started the car up a few weeks back and it starts first click every time so all good. The only thing left to do is to fit some new braided hoses to these Sierra 4x4 calipers that i have fitted together with Sierra 2 wheel drive EBC discs. Fill with fluid and bleed the buggers. The calipers have been refurbed by Big Red Brakes Any way i will update you soon!!!! Paul

    Roof Cover

The MK3 and MK4 are the same covers
  10. Can some one tell me where all the earth points are on a MK4 CVH engine bay?
  11. Ok, went back to this problem. If i put a piece of wire between housing and good earth battery light comes on. This would indicate the alternater is not earthed very good to the body and after several start ups of the car the battery is dead so would also indicate that it requires a earth to charge the battery. Would i be right?? It appears that the alternator gets its -ve from teh bracket bolted onto the engine block? or does it have a seperate earth wire? I think the problem is the bracket and heat sheild are powder coated and i think this is the problem. Can i take a -ve from the alternator directly to the body if so what guage wire? Paul
  12. Your the man, you might want to pin it egg
  13. all efi are in the tank mfi bolted underneath

Nice find mate, thanks for the link
  15. Wiring diagram can be found in useful cabrio info at the top of the page m8
  16. Should fit into a matching plug in the main loom
  17. So if i put that wire to ground it should put the light on? If it does its the alternator at fault. If it doesnt then poss bulb out? Paul
  18. Ok thats on and tight anything else that would stop battery light coming on?
  19. The blue wire that pushes on the the alternator? on the little peg thing
  20. Where is the battery light fed from on a MK4? Paul
  21. You will also need the Air Charge Sensor from the Fiesta Turbo if you are using your standad EFI inlet. There are some pin changes on the ECU but sepends if you run OFAB or OFAC. I have pin outs if needed. Paul
  22. You will need to upgrade your fuel pump. Everything else will drop straight in. But you will need a OFAB or OFAC ECU and map sensor. Paul
  23. Just in the process of doing mine. If you need help just ask. The first hurdle is finding a Escort EFI wiring loom, the fuel pump will need to be upgraded but this is a easy job. Paul
