  1. so it doesnt have the green relays? if it doesnt then thats why! and the silver fuse is a thermal switch and thats part of the pump wiring etc Are you trying the switch with the ignition fully on? try it with the key only turned once etc
  2. Hi nice car, i would have thought the wiring loom would be slightly different or perhaps not? obv the ecu would have to be changed anyway, the only mk5 i had was a 130 and with new plugs, decent exhaust and k & N it went well its just i prefer mk4's

  12. Still havnt sorted out the juddering, bought one new hub for the drivers side and got some discs on the way its clacking when i reverse too does this still imply its the discs or hub ??
  13. need to check/change mine now ive seen that its losing water now and then from the pump side, plus i need to put a new cambelt on so it can all be done at the smae time

  15. fuses and relays are fine, had power on spotlight loom momentarily and now its gone wire is ok ie it hasnt soaked up any water and corroded si im a bit confused as to why its getting no live feed hmmmm? gona have to wire them straight to the headlights feed or make a new loom with a relay etc

  18. Hi guys Does anyone know were the spotlight wiring terminates under the dash etc? i had power on the wiring loom momentarily then it blew the bulb in my snap on circuit tester. Tried all the fuses and they are ok

  22. Got out bid on two hub carriers so resorted to buying one side for now might just put up with the juddering for now and eventually get new shocks and springs too and change the whole lot, already got new track control arms and one new CV joint etc at least then itl all last a good few years
  23. Hi tony Have fun i hate changing heater matrix,s youll prob find i t easier to take the whole dash out rather than drop it down from underneath. As for air con ive always wondered that but never heard of anyone doing it
