Hmmm i retract what i previously posted, just tried a unbridged relay and now its decided to work as it should, strange.... perhaps it is the immobiliser playing up
I have got a yellow fuel pump relay, the prob is that ive had to bridge terminals 30 and 87 to get the pump to work but obv i have to take it out when i park up, any quick fix ideas? wondering whether its a immobiliser fault?
any ideas? my mk4 bonnet only closes with the left hand rubber stopper screwed low down but then the bonnet is too low and cracks the headlight ive tried adjusting the catch and replacing it etc etc
got one but cnt remember what condition they are in, possiby the lower part has a small fag burn mark ill have a look tomoz was keeping em for a retrim but if it happens ill get the rear done first as they are only taking up room in my garage
Thanks guys ill try that, suppose itll do it good to have some fresh new copper wiring to get a good ampage down to it, but still i cant understand why it sticks on now and then unless it needs a heat sheild? ive already wrapped the downpipe etc
Mk4 efi
My starter motor intermittently either doesnt work, sticks on once started and generally doesnt sound right as its turning over the engine
This happens with the old starter motor and a new one!
Ive got a new battery and new ish alternator and ive cleaned earth cable and even put a extra earth cable to the alternator bolts but still its still doing the same thing ARGHHHHH!!!
oh and ive cleaned ignition switch contacts etc too.
Any ideas??
I think my front wheel bearing has gone again too, front hub nut keeps on loosening by itself even tho ive hammered the lip over twice! think its had it but dnt want to buy new bearings just for a hub nut or does any one know if you can buy them separately? Hub nut that is
