Guest Kevin.Watton
Hi everyone first post. Just put down a deposit on a c plate white se that's been dry stored for 20 years. Paid £600 for it body is mint and all there but needs a interior(seats) and a new roof. I found the car about 5 years ago parked up at the back of a lock up owned by a mechanic I used to use and had a good look round it back then.called him today and it's still there so I put down a deposit on it. Not sure what the mileage is but it must be low. So I'm picking the car up in a month or so I can't wait☺ I'm pretty sure that a roof from a mk3/4 will fit is this rite? And seats what fits please? I'm sure as the days pass il have more to ask. Also what's the price a good one sells for these days? I'm not planning to sell it as it's been my dream to own a s1 rst and this is the closest il get to that.
Ian71
Roof not a problem, original seats will be your biggest problem, very rare ,as for price, well a real original mint car may make 5-6k if someone realy wants it that badly, poss more. Good luck i hope its a good one.
Guest Kevin.Watton
Thanks for that will any mk3/4 front seats fit and only cabby rears? I'm guessing just so I can get it drivable. once I've picked it up I'll be on the look out for a white roof for it.
