Have drained old fuel, put fresh fuel inand put new battery in, turns over but doesn't start. Advise where to go next?? Himanshu Posted June 2, 2015 Share Posted June 2, 2015 turn the car over and check if the spark plugs are damp and smell of petrol. If so the check the spark is there. If the spark is not there, check for a spark at the coil. You will deduce if it a fuel starvation problem or electrical one. But before check the cambelt has not perished or broken.
