Stephen Bearded Minky Hill
Hi all! I decided to give my engine a little wash with the sponge the other day and ever since it's had a misfire when I've just got my foot on the accelerator slightly at around 1500rpm. Last night I unplugged every bit off wiring I could find (edis throttle sensor co pot etc) and blew out with the air line but still no better so started unplugging things with it running. When I unplugged the co pot nothing happened. Is this correct or has this died? Thanks people!!
jinks
it will still run when you unplug c02 plug but very rich
Stephen Bearded Minky Hill
Should the revs pick up a bit when I unplug it? Like it was on choke? Because it seemed to make no difference at all lol

Stephen Bearded Minky Hill
Yeh it's efi. I was thinking the coil pack could be a problem. Gonna take the spark plugs out today and have a look. I've still been using it for a few days but its no better and I've got it fairly warm lol.
Stephen Bearded Minky Hill
It's fine on tick over and under load it only seems to splutter when I'm trying to maintain a speed around 1200 to 200rpm

Stephen Bearded Minky Hill
Yeh I gave it a wash on Tuesday evening and it's still playing up, still been using it hoping the heat would dry it out but no luck. I found a spare edis but no difference and I'm going to try a spare coil pack in a bit.
