Hi, I'm looking for any advise on RS Turbo engines.

The whole EFI / MFI thing........ whats the best way to go?

I have an XR3i 1990 EFI so I have all the original EFI wiring ect but I have recently bought an Escort RS Turbo engine, head, most of the MFI workings Turbo ect but no fuel lines or tank.

Before i go down one route does anyone have any advise on the best way to go. The car is a shell, so makes no difference work wise, just wondering the pro's and con's of each.

Any advise greatly appreciated.

Keir.

Am not exactly sure but i think fiesta management parts are far more expensive. I have both engines in two cars and would say not to much differance in performance. EFI certainly uses more petrol whith beige injectors.

If you want to have a cab thats as factory would spec go mfi, you can tune it to 260bhp on mfi management and a custom chip.

If you want to go further u can get the efi to 325bhp with custom management

You can change some pins on your ecu, fuel lines may need minor mods, fuel tank and pump don't need anything done on either engine i think.
