Guest wcelliot
Just acquired a UK spec 1986 xr3i cab with a bodykit here in the US. The outer window trim (on the doors and rear quarter) are badly deteriorated.. looks like some sort of alloy cap? Anyway, is there a source for these (origianl or repo)? Also it has what appaears to be MK4 RS vents in the bonnet and the passenger (left) side is broken/missing. Anyone have one they'd sell and ship to me or suggestions on a repo piece? thanks! StuDaBear
ebay uk for a vent I reckon, the trims you mention you need a company called east kent car trims, I've just purchased the door trims myself.

Guest ANDYA
Here's a great trick that will allow you to replace your front door trims for free! Remove the right hand inner door panel. Once you've done this, if you look along the top of inside of the door, you'll see there is a pristine rubber trim where it meets the glass. This will be a perfect fit for the outside of the left hand door. You can do the same with the left hand door. The old external perished seals can be placed back in their corresponding inner edges. It's basically a swap. The perished seals will be hidden when you put the door trims back on. I did this 4 years ago and they still look great. Let me know how it goes. All the best, Andy
