Nice one Stu,

For a moment there I thought I was seeing pics of mine, haha.

Looks pretty tidy from these photos. Anything major need doing like the rear arches?

Are you planning on keeping the spec as it is? The Calypso cabrios are pretty basic in terms of spec.

I've upgraded mine to:

Electric wing mirrors

Map reading lights

Wood dash, gear surround, radio and gearknob ( not to everyones taste thou.)

Heated front screen loom

Chrome rear number plate surround

Front strut brace (still to be fitted!)

Electric rear windows.

Gen Ford Wind deflector.

Slightly off topic, that's one slammed Renault in the background?!

lol bolt ons look ok as long as they are hidden by the rear bumper, and yeh they were rapid seen a few of them lately saying that ive seen a lot of the old classics around wrexham lately orion ghias, renault fives, 205s, GTEs, novas  mine seems to be the only cab at the mo  although there is a a few parked up in gardens here and there and the one for sale

one of the arches has been sorted already, not an amazing job but its ok, they had flatted it all back so most of the rear was dull, i used g3 to blend it in properly and get rid of the over spray!! now it shines well, its had a front ender at some point, bonnet paint is ropey and headlight dont line up lol

ive gotta sort under the rear lights as its quite rusty there, its had a few bits of welding underneath for the last MOT so atleast i dont gotta worry about that.

id quite like a walnut dash and love a wind deflecter

my renault is fairly low, not very practical where i live to say the least

Both my arches need doing. i'll go for a proper cut out and weld job.

managed to source a gen Ford rear wing, so one side at least, can be replaced with new part.

Managed to pick up a gen Ford wind deflector from eBay last mth, ultra mint and only 26 quid!

also my boot is rusty where the spoiler sits. Need to source a boot from a spolier- less model.

Also check the metal under the rear rubber trim that goes around the base of the roof. The double skin rots here and deforms the rubber.

yeah best to cut it out, mine is just filler lol, again boot is rusty where yours is, ive got lacquer peel around that rubber but havent looked for rot, think il ganders later!

i need a boot carpet if youve got a spare?

jelous of the wind deflecter, id love one for the mk4 too but can never justify the cost
