Escort Mk4 Hub Flange

Anyone know why i have two diff shapes? one thats not circular is off my old G reg .......motor factor non original part maybe?? 

 

looks like even if the bearings hadnt off collapsed and my nut sheared off then  the flange would of shattered anyway :sad:

hmmm if it was a revised item then surely my J reg 1991 would of had that on it then instead of the G reg 1989 ?

Never seen a escort hub that wasn't round. Maybe from another ford model or very early mk3. As to disc warping that hub won't make any difference. It's disc thickness and poor single piston calliper that cause the warping

could be, poss even a rs1600i as they must have diff flanges surely? its spot on size/spline wise etc

been busy mate, mainly getting married amongst other things! need to try an get on here a tad more, especially as ive just got a mk6 cab to cruise about in. the mk4 is in my garage again (broken lol)
