Hi all, new too this. i am 19 years of age just bought an escort cabby xr3i of one of my neighbours for 500 quid, could do with a few ideas please please. also any running advice for maintainence advice. Was thinking about putting a turbo in next year, how do i go about doing this? By the way i know she needs tidying up abit :tongue:

yea does look like it needs quite a bit of wrk, but dont let that put u off, ave u tho bout gettin an rs2000 frm a scrappy as u'l all the bits & if ya ave a look at savage's site he's just done it this yr & by the sound of it it's pretty rapid, just a thought!!!

Cab dont look to bad we have seen worse.....Like the RS 2000 sideskirts as the other lads have said go for RS 2000 coversion....you can get same engine as RS but 2.3 :dry:

gt a nice paint job b4 u do anything else lol and worry about power n engines n kits another day as it will soon hopefully b summer, interior looks decent tho :wink:

Nice colour,nice leather option and as mentioned the side skirts seem to work much better than the Gti type. One thing springs to mind. 19 years old-XR3i-Engine conversions=Insurance????
