1990 Xr3I Cab,didnt Buy As Project But Its Lookig Like It Will Be

Bought the xr3i off ebay couple of weeks ago for £700 mot till march 2012 3 months tax,looked a nice clean straight motor,drove her 80 miles home with not many problems just a wheel shake but had 17s with brand new tyres on unbalanced.to put a long story short she has been sat in garage for 2 weeks and so far has had 300 spent on engine.

 

so far i have had the hydraulic lifters replaced,all breathers modified to improve performance and econoomy,the ecu has been fully reset and every part of the engine now purrrrs,she has also had full service and uprated 065 battery.

 

next stage is new rs kit,recaro interior and a full allover paint job in origianl dimond white,i have also purchased new complete roof.

 

will upload pictures later of the money pit but least its saved it from the crusher

good news though i picked her up from garage today and she is purrrring like a kitten and goes like sh*t off a shovel,i immidiatley drove straight to paint shop for quote but think i will be doing her myself.
