lincolncity Posted May 10, 2011 Share Posted May 10, 2011 Mates got a White Cabriolet MK4 'F'reg '89', its been modded over the years and he's trying to put it back to original. I know Cabriolets on log books are shown as '1.6i'. How can you tell what it is? Are there any ways to I'd from chassis plates or other I'd plates, there is no badging on it, it has a Turbo Kit etc but may not have been on from new? lincolncity Posted May 10, 2011 Author Share Posted May 10, 2011 Well that's the thing, as its been modded over the years it may have had the 'Torbo style' kit fitted long after and the White roof has been replaced by a Mohair Brown/Grey one.
