hi all, so wen avul finally get's put bak 2gether, i thought i'd ask 4 every1's opinion on this little question?????

do i go 4 manual roof (as that's wat avul has at the mo)

or do i go 4 electric roof?????

 

i'l let all ur input decide 4 me, as if i go 4 leccie i'l ave 2 source it al, any help well b appreciated on this 1.

I got 2 eleccys and 1 manual. Manual is fine, no probs at all, 1 eleccy the hydraulic canister broke and stank out the whole sodding car for weeks and the other leccy Is temperamental. I prefer manual.

Electrics nice, but you want to have it wired so you dont knacker the battery and it means not turning the engine off at lights aswell.

But manual is quick to flick up and down, plus less go wrong.

 

As gingerman says if the tonneau is on then you've still got to get out with either.

 

Imo, if I got a car without electric roof I wouldnt even contemplate fitting it. plus with mine at the moment its lifting the rubber seal so I have to get out anyway lol.

look like there's no inbetween's on this 1 then, i know wat ya mean on the manual roof b'in quick tho, it's done in second's :biggrin:

Electric is the way forward. My cossy cab has manual and its a right ball ache compared the my other which i fitted electric to
