Goes with the Cossie mirrors nicely. I have a white tonneau cover as well to finish it off. The purple colour is fantastic and highlighted by that wonderful stuff "dodo juice" - £2 a ticket to win a care kit, draw taking place 15th April if memory serves. Time for a new direction... 1) Bored with the white alloys, I'm considering a dark gold (like the williams clio used to have) - opinions? 2) Doing Scumrun 2012 is definately on the cards which means fresh set of sponsors going on. This year we went for similar to the 1994 Lakes rally cosworth layout... Do I go for subtle next time or full on? I'm going to start stripping off the current vinyl when I get it back and treat it to a bloody good dodo-ing... All opinions / thoughts appreciated. Cheers Savage. Guest Savage Posted May 27, 2011 Share Posted May 27, 2011 I got some stick about my choice of white to start with I quite like the gold idea but if I was convinced I wouldn't be asking so I need nudging into suggestions. I like black alloys, but to be fair, Im not sure if they'll go with the purple. I still have some spray left from a touch up on Julian (the MK6) so spring violet would be a cheap option. Theres a MK4 RS tintop with the full lakes kit on round my way now and he's got his alloys orangey red and I like those but don't want to copy. And yes, that bumper is ma-hoooooo-sive.
