not for your car mate. if you have got a damp boot there could be a few reasons why.

 

rubber seal, rubber seal on the lights, coming in via the roof at the sides and running down the back into the boot, or via the aerial.

cheers marine. :biggrin: i know its not for a mk4 but i thought that a mk4 may have a similar thing? i tipped a bucket of water over the boot of the car today to see if i could see where it was coming in n could,nt suss it. :rolleyes: the aerial isnt tight as its got a slanty spacer so its not right for the car but i didnt think it was that as it gets very soggy in the boot........ :mad: im gunna replace the aerial n see if it cures it.could the boot seal be squished so it needs replacing :unsure:

ive got a used boot seal if you want it?

 

cheers gingerman but i think i sussed it. the seam on the passenger side was split all the way through so i put some glue in the seam n ive got no more soggy boot or floor. :biggrin:
