White cab- bleeding me dry, fully rebuilt turbo lump just gone back in should be running in a few weeks . . . Been driving me nuts re the colour of the blue one, after some research we think it's one of the special editions in Aqua Foam Did have the half leather Recaros in it but were wrecked, all changed now for Recaro cloth ! Picked up the minty 3 spoke wheel for £70. . . Edited February 12, 2011 by robpxr3

It's all a good idea at the time lol Will keep you posted, the blue one isnt far off an MOT, just a few bits to do...... Had another Ebay result though- pair of genuine Ford spotights in good nick... £25 the pair Will put them on the blue one as it still has the brackets.... Guest robpxr3
UPDATE Yep still going, rebuilt engine in the white one now done 1400 miles so not long to go till dyno time! It's gagging to be set up properly so looking forward to that. Blue Cab in the workshop over the weekend having a sump gasket done & exhaust downpipe- while on the ramp was a chance to have a good look underneath to see what else needs doing for an MOT- small bit of weld required on the sills, rear brake pipes are a bit corroded and rear brakes need looking at but all in all not too bad. Gave it it's first clean since i've had it (stuck in the lock up for 6 months) and it's come up pretty well with a polish! But oh oh ! Rob P strikes again! Bought another Cabriolet ! That now makes 3 Standard car in black, needs a VIC check as it was a Cat C a couple of years ago but just where someone keyed it up and bashed the door but has been well repaired. Worth doing tho - 58k miles from new with full stamped history, interior is mint Not cool 14" RS wheels coming off to be replaced with 15" RS 7 spokes.Got a full Magnex exhaust & manifold to go on that one too ! People at work think i need to go to a self help group or something cos i keep buying Cabriolets Is there ever a Kent meet ? Think i could start my own lol

Guest robpxr3
I'm not alone then excellent Yep white one coming along- trying to put miles on it before the dyno, gently running her in but it'll be worth it ! The drivers door has a bit of grot in it (ain't they all) so got a replacement, then the whole offside will be painted, then the RS skirts can go on. Good job i get on well with our bodyshop manager ! Just trying to work out if i have to take the dash out to get the drivers door off,or just get away with removing the clocks. .. . Having a steering rack done on it on Saturday,i officially got the last steering rack available from Ford, picked it up from Busseys Ford in Norwich on Sunday. Got Ford rod ends too so should be bang on! Also picked up a white tonneau cover on Ebay for £5.50 Black cab is going in for an MOT tomorrow, but of an unknown this one so fingers crossed, cant really see much wrong with it! Will try & upload an engine bay pic of the white one, wouldnt mind showing this one really- cab stand 2012 ??
