Guest f60ant Posted January 15, 2011 Share Posted January 15, 2011 hi im new to escort convertibles but after driving my car it is apparent that it suffers from bad scuttle shake. i have stripped the seats and carpet out to check for rust and had a look under at the floor and sills and all is mint no probs at all. while i had it on the four axle stands i could grab the back bumper and lift it and the whole car would twist, i would say with the roof up it was 70% better. so my question is, is there any way of fixing this problem ie welding some gussets in somewhere? cheers ant Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
