Guest B3NN10N
This vehicle was destined for the scrapyard by the previous owners. It is a P reg Ghia done just over 100k. In the quite rare colour of Ash Black. After some word of mouth talk - the owners were tracked down and a deal was struck for basically scrap money. The vehicle had been sat on wet marshy ground behind Grinshill in Shrewsbury. Sunken, filthy and covered in branches, twigs, soil and all sorts. A new fuel pump, roof, springs, wheels, cambelt, battery, headlight, rear light, fuseboard and a tonne of hours - the old girl is now alive. It is still not perfect but atleast it is road worthy. I will be taking my GTI off the road for the summer and enjoy being topless! I am still after front and rear ash black bumpers if anyone knows of anything or spots one in a scrappy - please let me know. I will be coming to Trentham in the Cab so if you see me, say hello! Benni.
