Besides the stickers the old girl has had a mini service too, now she runs alot sweeter, and the tappety tap tap noise from under the bonnet has dulled down LOADS.

nOt yet, was supposed to pick that up from Taz last month, unfortunatly it coincided with my Grandad's death and funeral, and so far this month had Wed anniversary, Mums b'day and dad's birthday. So hopefully by end of month, i should have it. The badges can be transferred easy enough

Yeah, no worries there, Its just how I'm feeling about it at the moment. The list of things needing to be rectified are as follows:

  •
  • The clutch needs doing, its grinding like crazy when dropping down the gears,
  • 2nd gear still needs sorting out as you have to crunch it in when dropping gears
  • more and more rust is appearing from under the "Quick, Hide It" jobs from previous owner(s),
  • Passenger seat sub frame has rusted around one of the bolts, so now being held with big washers,
  • The interior digital clocks minute button doesnt work, so its constantly 35mins fast,
  • The more I clean and polish her, the more scratches and dings are showing up (I'm guessing more quick hides were employed here)
  • Still blue smoke on start up
  • after a couple of days running the tappety noise is back
  • Brakes need replacing (inevitable at some point I know)
  • Bodykit sag still needs sorting
  • Washer bottle still needs repairing/replacing

To be fair, I'm really starting to lose faith in the old girl and seriously contemplating going back to a 4th Gen Honda Prelude, but going for the next one up (2.2 VTEC) to what I had previously (2.0i), as the repair costs are mounting up, and I cant have it off the road for too long as its my daily runner. The only problem is, I say this, then go out in the cab with the roof down, and belting down twisty roads at 50/60 mph and STILL holding the road solid, and all thoughts of selling up vanish.
