Guest danj8608
Hi this is my cabby i bought for £280 last week end That was a pic from the previous owner I took this pic when i went to pick it up and my god it was a load of hassle to tow, basically i attach a A frame to the lower arms and this enables it to be towed and steered. Long story short, bottom arms where nakered and a drive shaft cv has split so it wouldnt steer so i had to then get a dolly and have it towed back that way. A few things with this car, it is down on the log book as a si but has ghia badges and a wood dash trim fitted which can easily be fitted also its on a p reg but heres a few things i noticed on it suspension mounts all round are a 2 bolt set up ala mk5 the headlight brackets closest to the grille have been welded on not spot welded as they should be also missing the brackets for the grille also. So theres a few things that iv seen so far its solid underneath which for a escort is good and so is the rear arches, it needs for sure 1. new drive shaft and cv on passenger side 2. new hub/ stud for drivers side 3. new radiator 4. cat back exhaust ( which i have ) Iv got some mk6 gmax rear shocks, 60 mm springs rs2k disc beam rs2k front set up magnex cat back various alloys wrc bumper so iv got a few things to sort but so far im pretty happy got loads to do but its all fun, this will be a long project so updates may not be so often. Thanks for looking Dan
