Hi All ..

I have a 1995 1.8 SI Cabriolet thats been running fine with no problems, I drove her yesterday and had no probs, this morning I go to start her and nothing .. well .. she turns over but does not fire, iv'e checked the fuses and there ok, the fuel cut off button near the drivers foot well has not activated, I'm sure i can here the fuel pump and checked by disconnecting a pipe from the fuel filter to see if there was any petrol and there was when i turned the ignition over , what i did notice is that the valve that looks like a tyre valve near the injectors ect normally has fuel in it and when depressed fuel comes out but this time its empty and does not have fuel coming out when depressed. any help here getting her back running would be most appreciated

Ok update time,

Me feels a bit silly but still don't understand the main cause as don't really understand it myself .. But trust me this is a bit SPOOKY

Right .. got a recovery truck out today as went out to the car this morning and still the same thing "Would Not Start" .. as I have a for sale sign up in the rear window I thought I would take this out before he turned up as it looks a bit silly trying to sell a car that does not start, funny really as It was after I put the sign in the window when the trouble started!

anyways the guy turned up to tow my car to the garage, before he went to put it on the back of the lorry he asked me to try and start the car .. of course it did not want to but I tried anyway .. he listened .. checked the cam belt hadn't broke and then got he's battery booster out of he's cab .. he then attached it and proceeded to try and start the car .. well fek me the bloody thing started! ... he said that it was flooded .. balls .. I started the car up every day the same way and never had the need to pump the throttle .. there was no way on earth I could have flooded it .. anyways if it was flooded then why did it not start the following day after I gave it a rest for the night

My conclusion is that she did not want to get sold .... it was after I put the sign in the rear window that the trouble started and it stopped when I removed it!!!

What do you think???
