Guest Alanman
Was thinking of using the middle set of headlights a air intakes. They currently are not use as there's not enough room to put bulbs in due to the intercooler being sooooo close. Its done a lot when people go to the pod etc but I wondered if people thought it would look okay all the time. Do I do just one or both to make it match? Only the passenger side would be functional. Or none at all. I know its an old photo but it was the best from the front

Guest Cabbytech
Both, but could you leave the lamps in and remove the next sections from the grill ? i hope you dont mind me having done the following, but its just another idea for you if you could keep both sets of lamps. Guest Alanman
I did think that one light out would just look like it'd fell out. lol. Leaving the 4 lights in and doing the next bit would be a waste as the only thing there is the radiator. Id love a big ass front mount, that'd solve the problem (but cause a shit load more). I'm not too sure what a front mount would look like or even suit the car.
Guest diggy
i think if your going to take one out you should take the other to keep it looking equal in it's proportions.either way lights in or out it is a cool looking motor anyway! RScab
Or May be for better air flow
Guest Cabbytech
I like the look of the above one, but how about making a larger grille to protect from stones etc, with the back still removed as above for the airflow. Guest steelcabby
or what about some jetta headlights and a modified VW grill?? or modified grill that you have. bigger light direction and should get all your bulbs in too. then you could make the slats on the grill wider for better cooling if the cooling is so important?? Guest markeyboy
that does look good with the large grill, better than popping the lights out imo
