Guest crusty_crab
These are the products i used. 1. Cleaned all the crap up and attacked rusty areas with a wire brush 2. Sanded the rust down by hand for more penetration 3. Apply Hammerite rust remover and leave overnight 4. Attack the rust with a drill powered wire brush 5. Sand down to a smooth finish and start painting!! These are the products i used. I totally reconmend a using a drill with wire brush attachment. This Hammerite Rust paint is also the bollox i have painted the whole boot and i still got a whole tub full left! Enough for the floor and firewall. Guest crusty_crab
Now i can put all the trim back in the boot and then rip the seats and carpets out to give the escort a good inspection. Going to pull the engine out and clean and paint the whole bay as well. Then install the new engine i got for it. If im going to restore this cab i might as well do it properly!
