Guest sjc
The Ratio is to use 100,000 Micro-Farads per 100 Watts of Power, so if you use a 1000 Watt amp you should get a 1.0 Farad Power Cap, 1.2 will be better, I have 3200 Watts of PURE MUSIC POWER, so I just went for 5.0 Farads !!! read em....thanks.....does it say if the 100,000 uf per 100w is for RMS, peak or PURE MUSIC POWER amplifier outputs? Escort Cabriolet Club
Don't know mate, personaly just go by whats written on the front of your Amp and then get the Power Cap to go with it, so if you have a 1000w Amp (The 1000 is its peak !!!) then just get a 1.2 Farad Power Cap, its more than enough !!! Guest sjc
covered the box in some leather(ette), upholstery is a proper pain in the arse....and why does black leather have white backing....when you cut it you get white edges....nipped out and got some allumium 10mm angle, and egded the box in it. dropped speaker in and its okay.....some bubbles to annoy me for ever did try it in the car......got 13.5" at the side to build the stand for the amp (12.5" wide lol)...... all this and still aint heard the bstad yet Edited January 7, 2008 by sjc

Guest sjc
got stuck in yesterday.....made and covered the stand for the amp screwed down amp, this thing still dwarfs the 15" solobaric slid them into the boot, they fit nice, not a lot of space left, but i think it would be more trouble than its worth to try and build a bigger removable boot install unfortunately it started to rain, so have only set the gain up quick, and switched amp to lpf, went for a little drive and am generally pleased. Needs tweeking yet and have got to set up head unit properly. Then I can start to play with the sub-sonic features and see what they do. Need to run the speaker in for 24 hours before you'll hear me coming tho
