Guest suffolk04 Posted October 11, 2007 Share Posted October 11, 2007 had a go today, ran into a problem though, i rubbed the rust of with p800, and it was just suface rust, it just fell off with a little bit of pressure. then found where they rust was, theres is a black patch, looks like someone treated it with rust killer. came to use ettch primer on it, bumps and lumps, cant get the black patch to become smooth like the rest of the area. any tips on applying primer either?? i'm gettin the odd run here and there and its drivin me mad.
