The style of the badge stayed the same on either MFi or EFi. I've got an original ford "ESCORT XR3i" boot decal in black if your interested.

It could be the voltage regulator playing up in the alternator. Check with a voltmeter on the battery terminals to see if your getting 14.4 volts at the battery, the regulator is ok. If the voltage is lower than 13.6 volts or higher than 14.8 volts, its the regulator at fault. Hope this helps

If you want the ignition barrel only, Turn the key to position 1 & there should be a little lever that you need a little screwdriver to push in. You should be able to withdraw the barrel.

I believe that they were on manual roofs, if they are the handles that are under the speaker pods that release the roof so it can be put up

There not to bad a job to do. I work at fords & I can change a pair (both sides) in just over 3 hours from wheel off to wheel on.

I forgot to mention that I didn't buy the box & speakers pre-built, I have built & wired the whole thing myself. It works beautifully.

I have changed my roof & the only thing I would mention is to renew the main tension cable that goes round the back/bottom of the roof

I have a efi cab & i've just got a fuel computer. I've got the coin tray out but haven't been able to find the plug from the loom to plug it in. Can anyone advise me where the plug could be found & if uncle henry made one loom for all efi models.

Yes the RS Turbo calipers, caliper mounting bracket & disc's will fit behind 14" lattice wheels.

Its very similiar on MK6 to the MK4. You still have release the bottom ball joint (swivel joint) & the track rod end from the hub to get enough movement to release the cv joint. Whereabouts are you m8?

There should be a thick red wire that goes to the starter (13mm nut) for the battery feed then a thin black wire (10mm nut or female spade terminal) ignition switiched feed on the starter. All of the above wires should be taped together as a separate loom What make is the alternator? (Motorcraft, bosch or carello)

Hi Paul, There should be a thick red cable from the battery to the starter & the alternator wires should be in the wiring loom. Hope that helps you M8

there was a limited run of cab's that did get the LSD gearbox series 1 gearbox off the production line due to a supervisor's f*!k up. So you could be one of the lucky ones
