    just a little update :smile:

    I shall be leaving mine at 5am on Sunday morning and taking a leisurely drive to first meeting point which will be clacket lane service station on the m25

    sat nav is giving me roughly 2 hours with 118 miles from Gravesend and that's m25/ a3/ m27

    hoping to meet dan / bigjon / craig and ian at clackets and andy on the a3 services if possible

    look forward to seeing everyone on the day

    Hi all received this email regarding the club stand at simply ford

    I will print some club labels to give out at the car park .

    Thank you for booking in as a club for our Simply Ford event on Sunday 30th April. It is going to be a very busy event, with more club cars booked in for this year than ever before so we would appreciate any help you can give us to make the event run as smoothly as possible.

     

    Final Numbers

    Please could you update us with your final numbers for your club as soon as possible so we can work on and finalise the club layout.

    Club Arrivals

    Please use our Main Museum Entrance off the B3056 first thing. This entrance will be open from 8am for club arrivals - we will not be opening the entrance gate into the complex until 8am. Any early arrivals will be directed into one of our visitor car parks to wait until opening at 8am.

    Only Trade vehicles will be allowed access prior to 8am.

    This entrance will then operate as a club and general entrance from 9am.

     

    Please Note: The Attraction, including the museum does not open until 10am.

     

    Our additional Entrance off the B3054 will be signed as “Simply Ford Additional Entrance” and will be open from 9am-11am only and operate as a club and general entrance. If you arrive at this entrance before 9am or after 11am you will be directed round to the main entrance as there is nowhere to wait here.

     

    Club Labels

    To help us identify each club and direct vehicles to the correct club location it would be a great help for every vehicle that will be on your club stand to print off in A4 the attached club label and place this in their windscreen on arrival.

    Gazebo’s

    Please can we remind you that if your club stand is in the complex side (this is the hard standing arena and surrounding grass areas) you will not be able to put gazebo’s up within your club stands. We do ask for any clubs that wish to bring gazebo’s to let us know in advance and you will be located in the event fields.

     

    Catering

    The outside catering units will be open from 8am to cater for club arrivals. The Brabazon restaurant will only be open for refreshments from a slightly later time of approx. 8.30am.

    Tickets

    For those that are yet to buy their tickets - We do ask that each vehicle makes their own order for the persons in their vehicle when purchasing online. As only 1 e-ticket is generated per order all members are covered on that ticket and if you get separated on arrival it's not very easy to tie all members up when on the same e-ticket.

    If anyone needs to make a bulk order you can do this over the phone via 01590 614614 and we can post out individual tickets to the organiser.

    Tickets will be available on the day at £10 per adult and £5 per child when in a Ford vehicle.

    We are able to take card payments on the day but it is not 100% reliable so do ask for people to pay for entrance tickets as cash where possible.

    hi all

    as it stands we have 10 members attending simply ford with us . I need to give final numbers to the organiser's on Monday so I will add another couple of spaces and room for the club gazebo

    I shall be looking at getting there for 7.30 ish . I will have the kettle and tea n coffee so bring a mug and a comfy chair

    Hi All,

     

    Just seen a post about if new members would be interested. i Joined last week and picked up my Escort Cab yesterday!

    Now it needs a little TLC when i say a little i literally mean back box and a patch of welding, however starts and drives beautifully!

     

    Now i need to speak to my mum/dad/partner as i expect they would all want to come.

    Never been to a Ford event. Going on the road on the 22nd April (Insurance renewal date) so would tie in nicely.

    Not sure about the premier inn idea yet mate. Depends if I'm working the evening before. May see If ollie wants to meet on way early morning.

    looked at premier inn and all booked up .so I will be driving up early morning via m3 as its the fastest route from mine

    leaving mine about 5ish

    so will sort a meeting point with you

    I will be driving up on the day, may consider leaving the evening before and stay over in a premier inn or similar if anyone else thinking the same.

     

    Thinking maybe doing that andy .... will have a look into prices and locations :>)

    I will be driving down on the day for this show as I have other commitments :smile:

    But highly recommend staying at the caravan site as plenty to do to make the most of the weekend for the price of around £260 for 3 nights .. but you have to book early :>)

    Come and join the hundreds of owners and enthusiasts for what promises to be a great day out on Sunday 1st May. All Fords are welcome from the iconic Model T to the unmistakeable Focus RS, there is something for everyone. From classic Capris, Escorts, Cortinas and Anglias to new Mustangs, Focus' and Fiestas; models from throughout history will stand side-by-side to be admired.

     

     

    As well as being a great opportunity to view hundreds of Ford vehicles and meet up with other like-minded enthusiasts, you can also browse a number of trade stands selling Ford-related parts and accessories.

     

     

    Rally participants and Beaulieu’s attraction visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite Ford with the lucky winner receiving the People’s Choice Award and Beaulieu Trophy; those recieving the most votes then take part in a cavalcade.

     

     

    Vehicle Entry

     

    Advance tickets are available but please feel free to turn up on the day. Admission to the event includes entry to the whole Beaulieu attraction including the National Motor Museum, Palace House, the Abbey and the World of Top Gear.

     

     

    Entry into the Beaulieu Parkland with your Ford is from 9.00am – Breakfast will be available from mobile catering units and the Brabazon Restaurant will be open for teas and coffees.

    Tickets can be purchased in advance online or on arrival.

     

     

    Adults- £10

     

    Children- £5

     

     

    When arriving in a Ford and taking part in the event. (+ £1 handling charge per order when purchased in person or by telephone)

     

    All other visitors please come through Visitor Reception and the standard admission fee applies.

    hard to say to be honest :>(

    had a few running issues with my cabby could never find the problem so took it and had a rolling road tune up.

    well worth the £120 to get it running much better

     

    some one may be able to help on here
