ian, the starter is fine on it, il have to check the wiper motor though as i dont think ive used them, i think i do have a motor in the attic though if not!

im having to break this cabriolet after i blew the engine on it it wasnt the plan with this one, id spent a few days tidying it up, for it to go bang on me! its first come first serve for the parts as everyone always wants the same parts. roof is not availible yet.

i fitted this pipe, changed all the fuel, cleaned up plugs etc then blew the engine up lol. unfortunatly now having to break the car to get my money back, shame as its a decent shell. joys.

Some new tanks come with a new seal, so check this first if you haven't got the tank yet

sold it! its on a 3 hour journey to hull being towed on an A-frame lol. bad news for it though as he said it will be crushed by next weekend, he only wanted it for the engine, i managed to take quite a few parts off it, as all thats there bar the running gear will be getting scrapped with it, even uncut rear pods, shame, but still, its off my driveway!! few pics p.s john ive pm'd you about steering wheel

Ive gone and got yet another mk4 cabriolet, got 3 cabbys and one hard top now at the moment lol. Bloke i got it from had it 16 years and its been in storage since 2008, its in fantastic condition, all nice and clean, all rubbers good and trim good, has the best closing doors ive had on a cab, everything works! And dare i say it, seems solid! its got no rust! Only down side is the sides are matt black as he never got round to putting the lacquer on, but i still dont think it looks too bad? Anyway, some pics! And finally, whats wrong with this picture??? cheers

That one at 8k will never sell, you can buy a far more better old skool ford that that kind of cash.

Hi and welcome. Mk4's are picking up in price, and its the se500 that seems to be doing it the most, but IMO 4.5k is far too much, if its low owners with good history I'd pay 3k and to be honest not much more.

The switch also fits and works one side of the leccy windows that's prob why its fitted in the door
