some were registerd as a 1.6i, aparantly something to do with insurance, it will be exacly the same as a xr3i, engine, spec etc etc, if your anal about it then technicly its not a xr3i altho its exactly the same lol.

both rear arches shot, front wing shot, other wing salvageable, drivers sill a bit ropey! also been cleaning down the engine ready for a bit of paint at the weekend, so much crud on it started the gearbox, will also be painted

hi, has it got recaros with orange centers in suede? ive just searched for the car i thought it was but diffrent reg! if its got them seats i know a small amount about it. there was also one with damaged scuttle area too in st orange. i keep an eye out on the orange ones lol

cheers ian! dash is hydro-dipped, ive made sure ive got a standard bit to replace it with if i dont like it fitted! engines still in the boot of my car, mate of mine is gunna do the cambelt, water pump, clutch on it while its out and the general service shiz, should be painted and cleaned by the end of next week so its ready to drop in. a pointless random pic i took of it

exhaust manifold done! put my dash together a couple of weeks ago tidyed up the fan shroud, finished that today and cleaned a serious amount of crud from the gearbox cradel!

think fronts are rs2000, could be wrong but dont think any mk6 cabs came with recaros?

after two years sat in the garage its been on the move, thursday morning it got taken to the bodyshop for its work, and full re paint inside out. few boring pics, but loads of updates soon! and a couple of the bonnet i had blasted, i had the inner bootlid done too but got no pics lovley rust free! ive been buying tons of parts for it, lots of brand new bits, and cleaning older parts and painting them up if needed, hoping is going to be "mint" as they say! when im finished.

what the engine like in it? need one for mine! body does look shoddy, good source for parts.

Ive got one of those 3 pin keys knocking about. Does it have that collar on it that spins? I always smash a socket on them, you need a weighty hammer tho to give it serious force. Garages round my way charge from 5-15 quid a bolt to remove.
