BIG thanks go to ian (badger) for the wheels collected them off him this morning, fitted them this evening, a mix match of bolts held on the old ones and ive discoverd its "lowerd" suspension is cut springs lol. the back is a little too low now i reckon though. also collected a bonnet today for the cabriolet, productive day! once again, THANK YOU IAN, top bloke

  3. Cheers, its a bit sun bleached being red but overall its in good nick. Still hunting for some new wheels for it! Not only do the ones on it look pants, there not balanced, so its interesting to drive lol
  4. yeah it is quite clean, only one bit of rust and thats a small scab on bottom of the drivers door. interior aint far off new!! ian, one of these
  5. it just looks gloss black alot of the time, just something diffrent, my dash is a bit bland/dull. still, by the time its fitted i may change my mind lol. its wrapped up in my attic now. it was done by deamon dipping, its amazing what can be done, styles and that.

  7. this is my new mk4, its a temperary run around for the time being. its a 1.4 GL 5 speed, only had 2 owners! and rust proofing from new! needs some diffrent wheels ASAP! spent 6 hours today cleaning it up if anyone has any xr3i or rs turbo wheels for sale give me a shout!

  9. I use jizzer, its a good degreaser, as well as a tooth brush or washing up brush lol

  11. Is the oil level in the pump ok? If its low it will struggle
  12. they will all fit to the car, ones for the estates and cabrios may be a stiffer spring to accomodate the extra weight

  14. Try a crow bar if you've got one, a screw driver ain't gunna cut the mustard on that.
  15. the rears would be easier to re cover from cloth from the donor seats. yep thats me, ive got a lot of parts listed at the mo, and got shed loads more to put on still, so if your after anything give me a shout.
  16. its on the back of the stalk, could also be a faulty stalk, fairly common
  17. you can leave the main door glass in and still remove the quarter, you need to remove the runner bar, two small bolts, think there 8mm, pull it out at an angle, all when the main glass is lowered fully
  18. try and prise the hub carrier apart more where it splits, proberly just needs serious brute force mate,
  19. loads if you make some brackets up/ runners off your old seats, nothing will fit straight in
  20. the first of no doubt a few donor cars time to crack on!
  21. Yeah I do have a fair amount of parts lol, do need to get anti roll bar and suspension though to get it rolling. Thinking of just going white, keep it simple, get it done inside out
