I have a 1990 xr3i cab 1600 efi that has been left idle for well over a year.I loaned her to my sister before she sat idle and that was when the problem appeared.She will turn over start momentarally then stall.If you start her and gently pump the gas pedal you can keep her running but she wont rev high ,if you try to rev she dies.   My husband has drained the old fuel out,replaced the fuel filter ,removed and cleaned up the injectors.Put some fresh fuel in tank ,new battery and tried starting

last nite i went to start my car and it turned over then started to splutter and cut out, i topped up with oil as i thought it may just be low but no joy, after thinking about it i tried disconecting the air flow sensor and tried again and the car started fine although is judders abit wen pulling away!   will a new air flow sensor cost me much and is this an easy job for me to do?   also will driving with this disconected for now cause any other damage? any help will be much appreciated tha
