Will a Full Escort GT 96 onwards Exhaust fit on my 1.6 N Reg Cab?     Thanks!

I broke the aerial in my mk6 cab and bought a standard telescopic one from Halfords. When I went to remove the old one, I see the female part of the arial wiring loom in the boot is a Hirschmann female, and the connection on the new aerial is bigger. The previous aerial had the connector cut off and the wires were just stuck down the hole and taped up. Is there an adaptor I can get, or do I need to take this aerial back and get a different sort.   I just had a thought. I could get an extensio
