Guest Demonjams
As quite a few of you know I'm restoring my cab, but I'm having a right pig with the two front electric windows they worked perfect before I stripped the car down for the respray, now I'm trying to drop all the Windows back in both Window motors aren't working!!!! Now the first thing I've checked is the fuse and the fuse is ok, so then i got the circuit tester out to see if there was power and I've got power all the way down thru the switch and to the motor. So I took the motor off the window regulator and shorted it out of the battery just to see if the motor was knackered, and nothin happened! So the motors knackered yes?? But for both to be gone? After they worked perfect before!! Is that just a massive coincedence or what? Or am I missing something? Any advice or comments would be appreciated
gingergman
connect a + & - straight from a battery to the motor, worth wiggling the wires about when doing this too if no movement. no joy then motor buggered.
