Hi, I've been a member of the forum for a while without having a Cabriolet but that has changed and I now have a G reg Mk4 Xr3I one.

I've got many questions too ask and loads to learn but for now I wondered what the best option would be regarding the back seat belts. I have two girls ( one is 3 and one is 6) and the lap belts on there own aren't sufficient or legal for them. I'm She sees there must be others on the forum faced with the same issue. I thought about getting a way type harness but don't know which ones would do the job and be safe.

Could I have some advice please

Thanks Richard.

P.s does anybody know where there are any donor cars as mine needs quite a few bits to make it decent. It is solid and there isn't any rust or rot on it.

Damn auto correct. I meant I'm sure others on the forum have faced the same problem regards rear seat belts. Also I meant a four way type harness.

I'm sure Ollie did a isoFit (or isoFit, not sure) from a focus into his mk3 and I also put the belt from a mk5 in one side for when I have my grandson in the back. I just needed a heavy bracket welded into the boot for the inertia real. Only 3 point though

Thanks for the quick replies guys. My kids are older than needing the car seats putting in. They both have bolster seats. Im just wondering if there is either a way of putting the top part of the 3 point seat belts or whether something like a harness could be fixed to the lap belts fixing points and put round the back of the chairs. I've checked and the back seats lock into the locking device properly like they should do.
